Card 57/58 Ted Williams/Jim Tabor
This is the first card I purchased long before I decided to pursue the set. Ted Williams in all likelihood is the best hitter who ever lived. I would recommend Ted Williams: The biography of an American Hero.

Card 59/60 Jimmie Foxx and Joe Cronin
Joe Cronin‘s appears on two cards in this set and in both cases he’s in good company. One of his cards he shares with Ted Williams, possibly the best hitter ever to swing a bat.
